JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, TK Paraeducator – Sub Pool provides assistance in facilitating, managing, and providing activities to TK students before, during, and after the instructional day.
A TK Paraeducator – Sub Pool can be assigned to various sites across a school district, depending on daily needs arising from staff callouts. While there is not a guaranteed daily shift or location, TK Paraeducator – Sub Pool must be ready to travel and cover assignments at different locations as required. It is the responsibility of the TK Paraeducator – Sub Pool to respond and commit to covering open shifts as they become available in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
o 48 college semester units with at least 6 units in early childhood education
o 6 college units in early childhood education and pass a pre-employment exam.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
